The American Society of Bone and Mineral Rearch Council is pleased to announce that Dr. Roberto Civitelli of the Washington University School of Medicine has been appointed as the sixth Editor-in-Chief of the Society’s official publication, the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research (JBMR).
Dr. Civitelli was selected after an editor search led by Dr. John Bilezikian of Columbia University in New York. He will succeed Dr. Juliet Compston of the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine when her term ends on December 31, 2017.
