Gabriel Mbalaviele, PhD, has been appointed to serve a 3-year term as a member of the Merit Review Subcommittee, Endocrinology – B, Special Emphasis Panel, Veterans Affairs (VA). Members are selected on the basis of their competence and achievement in their scientific discipline as evidenced by the quality of research accomplishments, publications in scientific journals, and other significant scientific achievements and honors. Service on a study section also requires mature judgment, objectivity and ability to work effectively in a group.
