Gabriel Mbalaviele, PhD, has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of Science Immunology to serve a 3-year term. He will assist the editorial team in assessing papers on inflammasomes, osteoimmunology, and other areas of his expertise. Members of this international group of 20-25 scientists/immunologists are selected on the basis of their competence and achievement in their scientific discipline as evidenced by the quality of research accomplishments, publications in scientific journals, and mature judgment in assessing papers.
