Clarissa Craft, PhD, published an article in Frontiers in Endocrinology’s special issue: “Bone marrow adipose tissue: formation, function, and impact on health and disease”. Insulin resistance is commonly associated with Type-II diabetes and obesity. In the article, Craft describes a link between insulin resistance, pathologic marrow adipose tissue expansion, and perturbed hematopoiesis.
