The WashU Bone Health Program can count on dedicated and highly skilled nursing and technical staff, whose experience is derived from many years of work in caring for patients with osteoporosis and other bone disorders. Our bone density technologists are all certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD), and each performs several thousand DXA scans per year. In addition, an internal quality control system ensures the highest quality possible for bone density assessment.
