We are pleased to announce Nitin Pokhrel, PhD, has been appointed to the position of Instructor on the research track. Dr. Pokhrel received his PhD from Kyungpook National University in Daegu, South Korea, in 2017. In September 2020, he joined Dr. Veis’ laboratory in the Division of Bone Mineral Disease as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
Dr. Pokhrel is an invaluable member of Dr. Veis’ team and is emerging as a key collaborator for many. He has significantly contributed to drafting manuscripts and funding proposals that support the Veis lab, all while developing his independent projects. This appointment acknowledges his growth as a scientist and will enable him to continue progressing in new scientific directions.
Dr. Pokhrel is passionate about mentoring students and guiding their development. He enjoys engaging in dynamic and thought-provoking scientific discussions, inspiring the next generation of researchers.
