Dr. Michael P. Whyte will be awarded the 2016 Richard L. Day, MD Master Teacher Award in Pediatrics by the Alumni Association of the College of Medicine for SUNY Downstate. The award ceremony will be held on May 20, 2017 in Brooklyn, NY. The Master Teacher Award is given to an alumnus/a for excellence in medical teaching in an academic setting for more than 20 years and is most often a professor or department head.
